The Center for Pioneer Church Planting (CPCP) is a 20-year dream for David and Tommi Sitton.  Their passion is to reproduce themselves into dozens, if not hundreds, of radical, God-honoring, gospel-loving, missionary martyrs for the hard-to-get-to places where the name of Christ has never gone.

The Lord is gathering an incredible team that is fulfilling this vision of mobilizing significant numbers of well-trained missionaries for the nations.

The first session of the CPCP began on January 7, 2006 with five students.  The fourth year class completes with student graduations on August 21, 2009.

The first year of CPCP training was held in rented church facilities in San Benito, TX.  By the time the second year began, we were able to purchase an apartment complex in Los Fresnos which housed our students and provided classroom and office space.  Year three brought the addition of two adjacent single-story duplex apartments to our campus, which were converted into a classroom, a guest speaker’s apartment, and offices.  The following year we were able to complete the acquisition of the remaining two vacant lots at the end of our block, allowing for future expansion.  The Lord has graciously provided this growing campus for the ministry debt-free!

Twenty-one students have successfully completed the CPCP training.  Fifteen are on the field, will be departing in the first quarter of 2010, or are in various stages of specialized preparation in linguistics and medical training as they prepare for near-future church planting ministry.
